FAQ
What can I see?
We take our divers to the “No Stress Zone”, in the beautiful Jelinak cove near Trogir. At this location we set up our Via Crucis unique underwater museum on the seabed. The Via Crucis Underwater Museum consists of 52 life-size statues and a large 8-meter-tall statue of Jesus Christ. We placed all the statues on the seabed at a depth of 4-5 meters, and a large statue is placed at a depth of about 10 m. As such by its theme, the Via Crucis Underwater Museum is the only one in the world. Due to the good visibility in the crystal clear sea and the small depth, sightseeing is possible to all swimmers, both adults and children. We wanted to offer something new, something different. All statues are completely environmentally friendly, unique, handmade of ferrocement. The area is secured and diving is organized in small groups so you can have a full and a truly unforgettable experience.
How to dress and what to bring?
Dress just the way you would dress to go to the beach, bring sunscreen and a towel to wipe, and we advise you to bring a beach towel if you decide to stay on the beach for a while. And bring some cash if you want to have coffee or ice cream from the snack-bar.
How long is the entire scuba trip?
It starts with a meeting in our diving center in ACI Marina Trogir where you will do a briefing with our diving instructors and pick up your diving equipment. This is followed by boarding the boat and driving to the dive site. The dive itself takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on the intensity of air consumption. The total duration is about 3 hours.
Do I need to have previous experience or a certificate for scuba dive?
No previous experience is required for this dive. This dive is also a real Discover Scuba (Discovery) course, but even more special as you will have an unforgettable experience of your first scuba dive in a unique underwater museum. Upon completion of the dive, you will get your PSS (Professional Scuba Schools) Diploma and underwater photos of your unique scuba adventure.
Can children go to a scuba dive?
Children over the age of 14 are usually allowed to scuba dive, depending on their physical form. Safety always comes first and ultimately our instructors evaluate the option of practicing a scuba dive.
Am I going to get some certificate as a beginner after the dive?
This dive is also a real Discover Scuba course, but even more special because you will have an unforgettable experience of your first scuba dive in a unique underwater museum. Upon completion of the dive, you will get a PSS (Professional Scuba Schools) Diploma and underwater photos of your unique scuba adventure.
What if someone of my friends, family members do not want to scuba dive, but would like to go with me?
We offer a scuba package and a snorkeling package. Our idea was to create a unique story for the whole family, for everyone. Therefore, they simply book snorkeling and enjoy the beach with an aquapark and snack bar while you scuba dive.
Do you dive in large groups?
All dives are in small groups to have a complete experience and a truly unique and memorable experience. Our idea was to offer something different, so we made our own underwater museum, secured the area, and the tours were carefully organized and created to avoid any crowds.
Is diving with a diving instructor?
It’s mandatory. Dives are organized always and exclusively with our diving instructors.
I have many years of dive experience and I would like to go on a several deep dives, can I do it with Blue Nautica?
Of course, for many years we have been operating as a PSS diving center and in special agreement with our instructors we organize deep dives.
IMPORTANT!
Safety always comes first. If you have any health problem, it is extremely important to note and inform our diving instructors before the dive in order to decide on further procedure and/or adjustment of the dive.
