Central Dalmatia route

Don’t miss out the Island of Vis, visit one of the cleanest ecological areas of the most desirable destinations in Europe. Another a must stop is the island of Biševo, visit the Blue Cave which is a natural phenomenon, Pakleni Islands, the island of Hvar, the island of Brač, see its spacious sand and pebble beaches which stretch up to 10 km and numerous freshwater springs.

Day 1: Trogir – Vis (distance: 30NM)

Day 2: Vis – Komiža (Island of Vis, distance: 16NM)
Day 3: Komiža – Pakleni islands (Island of Hvar, ACI Marina Palmižana, distance: 17NM)
Day 4: Pakleni islands – Stari Grad (Island of Hvar, distance: 11NM)
Day 5: Stari Grad – Milna (Island of Brač, distance: 12NM)
Day 6: Milna – Maslinica (Island of Šolta, distance: 14NM)
Day 7: Maslinica – Blue Lagoon (Island of Drvenik Veliki, Krknjaši bay, distance: 2,5NM)

DAY 1: Trogir - Vis (distance: 30NM)

Sailing off is from ACI Trogir to the island of Vis, one of the cleanest ecological areas of the most desirable destinations in Europe. During the day a visit to the bay of Stončica, a tour of the island of Vis on its eastern side, a visit to the Budikovac islands, a visit to the Green Cave on the island of Ravnik. The possibility of spending the night in the city port of Vis. It is recommended to visit the Archaeological Museum in Vis along with the famous military tour around the island, and a perfect place to eat is the restaurant ”Pojoda”.

DAY 2: Vis - Komiža (Island of Vis, distance: 16NM)

The tour of the Stiniva bay is specific because of its shape and is the most desirable destination for site-seeing, swimming, and taking pictures. After this we go to the island of Biševo and visit the Blue Cave, which is a natural phenomenon. Entering the cave requires a ticket and entrance is organized with a small boat. Followed is an overnight stay in Komiža on the southwest side of Vis with one of the most beautiful sunsets. Our recommended dining places are Tavern “Bako” and Tavern “Jastožera“. We also recommend a visit to the Museum of Fishing and the Fish Industry.

DAY 3: Komiža - Pakleni islands (Island of Hvar, ACI Marina Palmižana, distance: 17NM)

Sailing off is from Komiža to the island of Hvar. During the day there is swimming and enjoying the Pakleni Islands (islands in front of Hvar). In many of the beautiful bays that you can choose from there is the possibility of berthing or anchoring. For dining we recommend the restaurant “Zora” on Pakleni islands in the Vinogradišće bay. Followed is an overnight stay in ACI Marina Palmižana which is located in a beautiful bay surrounded by pine trees and crystal-clear waters. Visiting the town of Hvar is by taxi boat from the marina (the ride takes approximately 5 minutes).

DAY 4: Pakleni islands - Stari Grad (Island of Hvar, distance: 11NM)

During the day it is recommended to visit Bol on the island of Brač. On the south side of the island of Brač is Bol, the oldest town on the coast of Brač. Spacious sand and pebble beaches which stretch up to 10 km and numerous freshwater springs have made Bol a true tourist oasis on the island of Brač. There is a lively bathing area known for its beach with a specific form that changes depending on the wind. Bol is one of the most famous Croatian tourist destinations. Above Bol is Vidova Gora, the highest peak of the Adriatic islands. Staying overnight is not recommended due to frequent waves so an overnight stay is recommended in Stari Grad on the island of Hvar (8 NM distance from Bol). Stari Grad is the oldest town in Croatia, Pharos’s peer. The same year, in 384 BC when the famous Greek philosopher was born in Thrace, Greeks from the island of Paros in the Aegean Sea founded a city on the island of Hvar, which they called pharos. Because of its central island location, this city has been a haven for sailors for centuries and for boaters today. There is a possibility of an overnight stay in the port of Stari Grad.

DAY 5: Stari Grad - Milna (Island of Brač, distance: 12NM)

During the day there is swimming and visiting the south side of the island of Brač. There is also a visit to the bay Lučice with the possibility of berthing to a buoy and dining in the restaurant “Lučice”. Following is an overnight stay in ACI marina Milna. Milna is one of the most harmonious “little towns” of Baroque urbanism on the Dalmatian coast and the best natural harbour on the island of Brač, where even during the construction of Diocletian’s Palace in Split, Caesar’s fleet found a safe harbour.

DAY 6: Milna - Maslinica (Island of Šolta, distance: 14NM)

During the day there is swimming around the islands in front of Maslinica. There is also a visit to the safe bay Šešula with the possibility of berthing and an overnight stay on the buoy which is owned by the same-named restaurant in the bay. In case of lack of free space or bad weather, there is the possibility of an overnight stay in Maslinica, a peaceful island town that has its own marina with a luxury hotel.

DAY 7: Maslinica - Blue Lagoon (Island of Drvenik Veliki, Krknjaši bay, distance: 2,5NM)

Sailing off is from Maslinica to the islands of Veli and Mali Drevenik. There is a tour of the islands and their natural beauty and arrival is in Krknjaši bay (Blue Lagoon) in Drvenik Veli. Blue Lagoon is one of the most beautiful and the most popular lagoons in this area. It is known for its white sand, the impeccable cleanliness of the sea and shallow depth. Return to the base in ACI Trogir is by 18 h.
